The Miles of Golf Staff
Ours staff is comprised of avid golfers whose goal is to make our customers better golfers and help them enjoy the game more. As a group there are certain things we value:
- We do what we say we'll do.
- We treat each other and our customers with fairness, honesty, and respect.
- We take pride in doing things right and being successful.
- Working as a team is important to all of us.
- Although we come from very different backgrounds, we all have one thing in common: we all love golf.
Chris Mile
President
Chris had run several small businesses in New York City and Michigan before starting Miles of Golf. For Chris, nothing has been as much fun as seeing Miles of Golf grow and become an important part of the Ann Arbor golf community.
Chris was a Michigan high school golf champion, captain of the University of Miami (FL) golf team, two-time runner-up in the Michigan Amateur, and coach of a state champion Greenhills High School Golf Team. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and Columbia Business School.

Doug Davis
Vice President, Golf Range Operations
Doug runs the practice facility which has been ranked one of the top 100 ranges in the country every years since 1996. He makes sure everything about your practice experience at Miles of Golf is the best, including heating your range balls in the winter for optimum feel.
Doug grew up in Ypsilanti and was All State and medalist in the Michigan high school championship while at Ypsilanti High. Doug was the captain of the University of Michigan Golf Team. Doug has also won the Golf Association of Michigan Stroke Play Tournament (Michigan's premier amateur stroke play tournament) and the GAM Mid Amateur. In 1996 he was awarded the Boyne Cup which is given annually to the top amateur golfer in the state.

Brent Norton
Vice President, Golf Shop Operations
At Miles of Golf, Brent manages all aspects of our custom fitting operation. He runs The Cluboratory, where his extensive knowledge of golf club technology and club fitting has been instrumental in developing our state of the art launch monitor fitting program. Brent is widely consulted by the major club manufactures for his opinion on their new clubs and their club fitting systems. He also runs our award winning golf shop. “Norty” is a diehard Buckeye fan living in Ann Arbor.

Joe Kellersohn
Marketing Manager
Joe's in charge of marketing and corporate sales. He handles our advertising and assists with special events such as our Club Swap & Garage Sale, Golf Fair and our Vendor Weeks.
He's also responsible or our logo merchandise and apparel. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University.

Brandon Anderson
Purchasing Manager
Brandon handles all of our buying. He meets with all of our vendors to determine what products you see in our award winning golf shop. He comes to us from the TPC at River's Bend and is a former PGA professional. He played college golf at Miami (OH) and has dual degrees from EMU. He has served as a Tech Rep for Cobra Golf and has extensive knowledge of club fitting including launch monitor fittings.

Ken Johns
Golf Shop Manager
Ken joined our staff in the spring of 2008. His extensive retail backgound and club fitting knowledge has been a bonus for Miles of Golf. Ken has developed a special expertise in putter fitting. Ken played college golf at Eastern Michigan University, where he graduated with a marketing degree.

Shawn Zawodni
Club Fitter
Shawn came to Miles of Golf in 2007. He is a graduate of the Ferris State University Professional Golf Management Program and a former tech rep for TaylorMade Golf. His extensive knowledge of club fitting including launch monitor technology has made Shawn one of our most sought after club fitters.

Bryan Carpenter
Club Fitter
Bryan joined the Miles staff in March of 2008. He graduated from the Univ. of Detroit Mercy with a Masters Degree in Architectural Design in May of 2008. He is an active Michigan Publinx Golf Assoc. member and plays for the Moose Ridge team. Bryan also worked as a Tech Rep. for Cobra Golf for three years.

Alan Dante

Alan joined the Miles of Golf staff in 2008 and also works for Ping Golf as a Technical Fitting Expert. He has been with Ping for 14 years and in the golf business for 19. After attending the Univ. of Hawaii, Alan travelled the world with various recording artists and currently plays percussion with the Motown R&B group, "The 3 of Us".

Steve Fedewa
Club Fitter
Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wayne State University in 2012. He played golf for WSU for one year where he led the team in scoring and earned ALL-GLIAC First Team Honors; he made it to Nationals playing for Lansing Community College prior to WSU. Steve enjoys competitive golf here in the State of Michigan and competes against many of the top amateurs in the state in GAM and Publinx run events. Prior to working at Miles of Golf, Steve was a PC Service Technician and an Assistant Manager at Timber Trace Golf Course in Pinckney, Michigan.

Nate Lammers
Club Fitter
Nate came to Miles of Golf in the spring of 2011. He has been working in the golf industry for 5 years and has been fitting clubs for 4 of the 5 years. Nates extensive golf knowledge comes from 17 years of competitive golf at the junior, high school, and college levels. Was All-state in high school and played college golf at Saddleback Community college, and at The University of Toledo. Received a bachelors in Marketing and professional sales at The University of Toledo. Before Miles of golf Nate worked at Golf Galaxy and was a Emergency room registration specialist at Flower hospital in Sylvania, OH. When not working at Miles of Golf, Nate is looking to persue a career in professional golf.

Jerry Moskwiak
Special Order Processing Manager
Once our club fitters determine the specifications on customers clubs, Jerry handles placing the orders with the club manufacturers. As a result new custom clubs usually arrive within two weeks. Jerry keeps this whole process rolling. We sell custom clubs from Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, and Ping, just to name a few.
Jerry worked at Bavarian Village before coming to Miles of Golf. Prior to that he was in insurance sales.

Brendan Stevenson
Inventory Control Coordinator
When Brendan first joined our team in 2002, he was an intern as part of the Professional Golf Managment Program at Ferris State University. After having graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2008 with a Communication and Theatre Arts degree, Brendan worked on the Nike Golf Custom Club Assembly Line for 3 years where he specialized in repair and customer service. Now, in 2012, Brendan is in charge of our inventory receiving and truly takes pride in his work. He is an avid MSU Spartans fan.

Dan Langell
Club Repair Manager
Dan came to Miles of Golf in 2012. Previously, he owned and operated his own golf shop for several years, and has extensive knowledge in club repair, club fitting and club making. Dan will be bringing new services to Miles of Golf, including hot melting, wedge grinding and painting filling for wedges. He builds beautiful custom clubs from Miura Golf, one of the premier custom club companies in the industry and is a graduate of Walsh College, with a degree in Finance.

Golf Shop Manager
Kaitlin joined our team in 2008. She graduated in 2011 from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Marketing and minor in Communication. She has worked at Miles throughout her entire college career. Kaitlin is the first female manager ever at Miles. She also assists Joe (Marketing Manager) with marketing and social media for the shop.
