Chris Mile |
Chris had run several small businesses in New York City and Michigan before starting Miles of Golf. For Chris, nothing has been as much fun as seeing Miles of Golf grow and become an important part of the Ann Arbor golf community. Chris was a Michigan high school golf champion, captain of the University of Miami (FL) golf team, two-time runner-up in the Michigan Amateur, and coach of the 1994 state champion Greenhills High School Golf Team. Doug Davis |
Our award-winning practice facility has been developed under Doug's direction. He makes sure everything about your practice experience at Miles of Golf is the best, including heating your range balls in the winter for optimum feel. Doug grew up in Ypsilanti and was All State and medalist in the Michigan high school championship while at Ypsilanti High. Doug was the captain of the University of Michigan Golf Team. Doug has also won the Golf Association of Michigan Stroke Play Tournament (Michigan's premier amateur stroke play tournament) and the GAM Mid Amateur. In 1996 he was awarded the Boyne Cup which is given annually to the top amateur golfer in the state. What's in Doug's bag?

Casey Baker |
Casey is in charge of our golf shop inventory and purchasing. He oversees our sophisticated inventory control system, which keeps the latest merchandise constantly flowing into the shop. Casey closely monitors literally thousands of products in the shop and carefully controls our inventory of these products. Our ability to stock our store with items golfers want is an important reason our shop has been awarded the Golf World Business Top 100 Award in each of the last 9 years. Casey is also one of the top amateur's in the state. He won the 2005 GAM Championship and made the semi-finals of the Michigan Amateur in 2004 and quarter-finals in 2005 & 2006. Brent Norton |
At Miles of Golf, Brent manages all aspects of the golf shop including training our staff. He also runs The Cluboratory, where his extensive knowledge of golf club technology and clubfitting has been instrumental in developing our state of the art launch monitor fitting program. Joe Kellersohn |
Joe's in charge of marketing and corporate sales. He handles our advertising, plans corporate outings, and assists Brent with special events such as our Club Swap & Garage Sale, Golf Fair and our Vendor Weeks. Once our club fitters determine the specifications on customers clubs, Jerry handles placing the orders with the club manufacturers. As a result new custom clubs usually arrive within two weeks. Jerry keeps this whole process rolling. We sell custom clubs from Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, and Ping, just to name a few. Jerry worked at Bavarian Village before coming to Miles of Golf. Alan joined the Miles of Golf staff in 2008 and also works for Ping Golf as a Technical Fitting Expert. He has been with Ping for 11 years and in the golf business for 16. Bryan joined the Miles staff in March of 2008. He graduated from the Univ. of Detroit Mercy with a Masters Degree in Architectural Design in May of 2008. Jane has worked at Miles of Golf since we first opened in 1995. She is responsible for our bookkeeping and accounting. Jane makes sure we don't make mistakes when we wait on you. But if we do, she isn't afraid to let us know. Jane was a teacher for 8 years then left to raise a family. She was the accountant for an advertising firm for 16 years before joining Miles of Golf. |
