Ian Walton

Ian joined the Miles of Golf team in May of 2019.  Prior to joining us he was the hardlines manager at Golf Galaxy in Dayton Ohio for the last three years. His love for the game started as a five year old playing Armco park with his grandpa.  That grew into battles (that still go on today) with his father, Tim, a long time professional in southern Ohio.  A three year varsity letterman at Fairmont high school, he fell in love with getting people the proper equipment helping his dad fit Henry Griffitths clubs in the late 90’s.  After turning pro in 2002, his main focus became equipment.  Whether it is fixing something old, or getting them something new, he just wants people to play better golf and more importantly have more fun doing it.

What’s in Ian’s Bag?:

  • Driver: Taylormade M5 460 9 deg tensei pro orange 70x
  • Fairway: Taylormade M5 3 wood tour AD DJ8x
  • Irons: Mizuno MP18 4-PW Nippon modus 120x
  • Wedges: Mizuno T7  50,54,58 Nippon modus 120x
  • Putter: Bettinardi studio stock #2 34.5”
  • Ball: Titleist Pro-V1x
