2018 Washtenaw Golf Association Championship
The 17th annual Washtenaw Golf Association Championship was held Sunday, May 20 at the University of Michigan Golf Course. The championship field consisted of the best players in the county based on a point system awarded for statewide GAM amateur events and local Washtenaw tournaments.
This year’s champion is Kory Roberts of Ypsilanti. Kory’s two rounds of even par 71-71 for a total of 142 was three better than Ann Arbor City Champion Matt Paterini’s 145. Third place went to Brian Vlazny. Conditions were wet, cold, and difficult.
Kory is new to the event moving from Battle Creek after finishing his collegiate career at Northwood University. Kory was the best player in his conference and runner-up in the 2015 Michigan Amateur.

The MOG/WGA Honor Roll recognizes the best players in Washtenaw County. Points are a combination of GAM Honor Roll Points plus local points received based on performance in the City of Ann Arbor Championships along with local Club Championships.
