How to Pay for Practice Balls
Driving Range in Ann Arbor, MichiganYou may use cash, credit card, or a Miles of Golf Range Debit Card to purchase your practice balls. All of these transactions take place right at the ball machines; you do not need to come to the shop. For cash purchases, you need the exact amount. The ball machines DO NOT GIVE BACK CHANGE. For credit card purchases, you can only purchase large buckets. If you use a Miles of Golf Debit Card, you receive a 20-40% bonus depending upon the amount of your purchase. To recharge these cards, you do need to come to the golf shop. These cards are a convenient and cost saving way to use our range.
Size of Buckets
It is $9 for a small bucket of 53 balls, $10 for a medium bucket of 75 balls, and $12 for a large of 100 balls. We also offer a $5 mini bucket with 40 balls.
Hitting Tees
There are 40 covered tees that are protected from the elements and heated. These tees are open all year. During the summer months, there are always grass tees and outdoor mats available. The grass tees rotate throughout the range so please look for signs that indicate the areas where grass tees may be used.
Hours of Operation
The range is open from dawn to dusk even when the golf shop is closed.
Location of the Ball Dispensing Machines
During the summer months, there are three ball machines in operation. Two are located in the tee shelters and one is outside at the south end of the tee shelters. During the off-season, the outdoor ball machine is shut down.
Practice Putting Green
There is a practice putting green available to everyone that is just south of the golf shop. This putting green should be used only for putting, not chipping. It is open during the summer months only.
Clubs to Borrow
There are clubs located in the golf shop that are for anyone to use. Please feel free to borrow these clubs but leave them for others to use when you are finished. Thanks!
Players Club
The only part of the range that is not open to the public is the Players Club which is at the far south end of the range. To use the putting, chipping, bunkers and grass tees in this area you must be a member.
