FAQs

  • I am new to golf, should I get a fitting before taking lessons?
We always recommend getting a lesson before coming in for a fitting, if possible. This approach allows you to refine your swing and address any fundamental issues under the guidance of a professional instructor. By having a more consistent swing when you arrive for your fitting, we can ensure that the clubs are tailored to your measurements and your improved style of play. This makes the fitting process more effective and ensures that your new clubs will complement and enhance your refined technique, leading to better performance on the course. • Do I need to bring my current clubs to my fitting appointment?
We always recommend bringing in your current clubs if possible. This lets us establish a baseline to show the potential benefits of new golf clubs. By comparing your current equipment directly with the latest models, we can accurately assess improvements in distance, accuracy, and overall playability.
  • Do I need an appointment for a club fitting?
Yes, an appointment is required for a club fitting. To schedule a fitting, you can do so over the phone or in person. You can also request a fitting by visiting our club fitting page, and a Miles of Golf associate will be in touch with you soon.

  • How much is a club fitting?

  • Can I be fit for my current clubs?
We can address if alterations to your current clubs can be made. Our on site repair technician can make alterations to length, lie, loft, and change shafts if needed. Please note, if you are looking to alter the lie angle or loft of a club, we can only do so with forged irons. Cast irons run the risk of breaking in the process.
  • Do custom clubs cost more than off-the-shelf options?
Ordering clubs with custom specifications comes at no additional cost compared to off-the-shelf options. However, selecting exotic shafts or specific grips might result in a price increase.
  • How long does a club fitting take?
Similar to price, the amount of time will vary. Our fitting sessions range from 45 to 90 minutes. Full bag sessions always require two separate sessions, either on the same day with an hour break in between or on two separate days. Click here to visit our club fitting page to learn more.
